Creamy Vegan Ranch Dressing

This ain't your grandma's ranch dressing! We've been having fun in our kitchen lately, testing various uses of JOI "beyond milk". This ranch dressing is one of our favorites. It's the perfect pairing for your favorite salad, as a dip, or for drinking (hey, we don't judge). 100% vegan, gluten-free, paleo, and keto-friendly.
What's in the recipe?
Open up that pantry - chances are you've got most of these ingredients on the shelf or in a spice rack already:- JOI Almond or Cashew milk concentrate
- Fresh lemon juice (or vinegar!)
- Garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper
- Dill, dried or fresh
- Chives, dried or fresh
Now here's the trivia: what's NOT in the recipe?? Let's start with sour cream, milk or cream, yogurt. If you've ditched dairy but still want a creamy comforting favorite, this is your solution! The neutral-tasting JOI bases lend all the creaminess your tastebuds want - but the rest of your body doesn't ;)
How do you make this ranch dressing?
Making this recipe could not be more easy! Just grab all your ingredients, throw them in a blender. Whiz it up, and you're done!
How do I use this ranch?
Ranch is the quintessential creamy and versatile dressing. Whether you're dressing a salad made of fragile leaves (butter lettuce) or robust sturdy ones (kale), this dressing blankets it beautifully. It also works well as a dressing for a slaw, or even a tomato or cucumber salad!
Have leftovers? Serve it in a bowl with some crudites (or chicken wings!). Or as a sauce to top grilled vegetables.
We know that "put an egg on it" is trending. But we think "put ranch on it" may just be the new reigning fad.
